Vehicle movement for dealerships

Move vehicles.
Lose the chasing.

MotorRelay brings the run, the selected driver, inspection evidence, live updates and final handover into one clear record for your dealership.

Verified driver profiles Run-specific chat Connected progress Payments through Stripe

One place for the details that usually get scattered.

Vehicle movements often begin in one system and finish across calls, messages and photographs saved on different phones. That makes it harder to answer simple questions: who has the vehicle, what condition was it in, and has the handover actually happened?

MotorRelay gives each run its own working record. The route, vehicle details, timing, driver quote, messages, inspection photographs and delivery confirmation stay attached to the same movement.

  • Create a run with the collection, delivery, vehicle and timing information.
  • Review applicants and select the driver that suits the movement.
  • See progress without repeatedly calling for an update.
  • Retain a clearer record when a condition or delivery question is raised later.

Four connected stages.

01

Post the movement

Add the vehicle, route, transport type and collection timing. Save a draft until the details are ready.

02

Select the driver

Receive applications and quotes, then review the driver profile and verification information before choosing.

03

Follow the run

Collection inspection, messages, status updates and shared live location remain connected to the run.

04

Confirm delivery

Use the delivery QR code or PIN to record handover, then complete the agreed driver payment through Stripe.

Built for stock that needs to keep moving.

Branch transfers

Move vehicles between dealership sites while both sides retain the same run record.

Auction collections

Keep release information, collection evidence and the delivery destination together.

Customer handovers

Record the vehicle condition and use a clear final confirmation at delivery.

Part-exchange collection

Connect the inbound vehicle, driver updates and arrival evidence to one movement.

A more useful record when something needs checking.

The movement record is designed to show what happened at collection and delivery. Drivers complete the required inspection steps, add photographs and communicate within the run rather than relying on an unrelated message thread.

Live location is visible when the assigned driver is actively sharing and network conditions allow. It supports the journey record, but it does not replace safe driving, direct emergency communication or the formal handover process.

Dealers remain in control of selection.

MotorRelay provides driver profile and verification information so the dealership can review the applicant before accepting a quote.

Dealer questions

Before your
first movement.

What kinds of vehicle movements can I post?

MotorRelay supports driven and transporter movements, including dealership transfers, auction collections, customer deliveries and part-exchange collections. The vehicle and movement details must accurately reflect what is required.

How is the driver chosen?

Eligible drivers can apply and submit a quote. The dealer reviews the available profile, rating and verification information and decides which application to accept.

Can I see where the vehicle is?

You can follow the run status and see the assigned driver's location when live location sharing is active and available. Location visibility depends on the driver's device, permission and network connection.

When is the driver paid?

After the delivery handover is confirmed, the dealer completes the accepted driver payment through Stripe. The publishing platform fee and driver payment are shown separately.

Is MotorRelay already available nationwide?

MotorRelay is currently accepting early-access registrations while the dealer and driver network is built. Availability for a particular route depends on suitable approved drivers being active in that area.
