The selected driver records the vehicle condition required by the run before movement begins. If the vehicle does not match the description, is unsafe to drive or cannot be released, the discrepancy can be recorded against the movement.
That evidence gives the dealership a clearer basis for speaking to the auction provider, seller, driver or insurer. It does not replace the auction's own condition report or sale terms, but it preserves what the driver encountered at collection.

No. MotorRelay is an independent vehicle-movement platform. The dealer must follow the relevant auction provider's release, payment, collection and storage rules.
What release information should I add?
Add the information the selected driver is authorised to use, including the site, collection window, buyer or release reference, contact and any access instructions. Sensitive details should only be shared through the appropriate secure workflow.
What if the auction vehicle will not start?
If it was booked as a runner but is not suitable for a driven movement, the driver should record the issue and not attempt an unsafe journey. A suitable transporter or recovery arrangement may be required.
Can the driver collect documents and keys?
The dealer should state what the auction site is expected to release and ensure the driver is properly authorised. The driver records the applicable handover information within the run workflow.
Does MotorRelay guarantee the auction's collection slot?
No. Collection access remains subject to the auction provider's rules, release status and operating conditions. Accurate booking information helps the selected driver plan appropriately.
