This policy explains how MOTORRELAY LTD (company number 16782823), registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Unit 28 Accrington Road, Burnley, England, BB11 5EF, uses cookies and similar technologies on the MotorRelay public website, account website and mobile apps. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files saved on a phone, tablet or computer when someone visits a website. Similar technologies include browser storage, app storage and secure storage. They can remember a sign-in, protect an account, retain unfinished wizard details or keep an active journey working. A run saved to the dealer's MotorRelay account is stored on MotorRelay's systems rather than being a cookie.
How MotorRelay uses them
We use essential storage to:
- keep an authorised user signed in and protect their session;
- recognise an installation for notifications and security;
- save unfinished run-wizard details on that device so work is not lost;
- remember which notifications have already been seen;
- support collection checks and an active live-location journey; and
- recover safely when the app or website has been updated.
These uses are necessary to provide features requested by the user or keep the service secure. They are not used to build advertising profiles.

Mobile apps
The MotorRelay iOS and Android apps use secure or local app storage for the same essential purposes. Mobile operating systems also control permissions such as notifications, camera and location.
Services provided by other companies
MotorRelay uses trusted services for certain features. Stripe handles payment pages, Google provides map and navigation features and, with permission, Google Analytics measures use of the public website while Google Ads measures advertising conversions. App stores distribute the mobile apps. Those services may use their own cookies under their own policies.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement
With a visitor's permission, MotorRelay uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, website interactions, traffic sources and whether an early-access form was completed. With separate marketing permission, Google Ads may store advertising-click identifiers and measure whether a visit or enquiry followed an advertisement. We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, phone numbers or form contents through these standard website events, and personalised advertising signals remain disabled.

Analytics cookies are not set unless analytics permission is granted. Google Ads storage and advertising-data signals are not enabled unless marketing permission is granted. MotorRelay keeps advertising personalisation disabled.
Your choices
Essential storage cannot be disabled through a preference tool because the requested service may not work safely without it. Optional analytics and marketing measurement can be accepted, rejected or changed separately through Cookie settings. Withdrawing permission stops future storage for that category; users can also clear existing cookies through browser controls. Users may also clear website or app data or remove the app. Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in, payments or other account features from working.
