Clear instructions
Record the route, timing, movement type, vehicle and handover contacts before publishing.
Dealer collection and delivery
Coordinate vehicle collection and delivery without separating the driver conversation, inspection photographs, journey updates and handover evidence.
Dealer delivery workflow
A successful vehicle delivery depends on more than reaching the destination. The correct vehicle must be released to the right driver, its condition must be recorded, progress must remain visible and the recipient must be able to confirm handover.
MotorRelay keeps those checkpoints attached to the same run. That gives sales, operations and accounts a shared view without relying on screenshots or searching through separate conversations.
One delivery record
Record the route, timing, movement type, vehicle and handover contacts before publishing.
Required inspection steps create a time-linked view of the vehicle at both ends.
Questions, updates and incident messages remain visible within the relevant run.
The recipient uses the delivery QR code or PIN before the payment step is completed.
Different destinations, consistent process
MotorRelay can support branch-to-branch stock moves, trade collections, customer deliveries and inbound part-exchange vehicles. The route changes; the need for accurate details and a reliable handover record does not.
Accurate from the start
The dealership should describe whether the vehicle is roadworthy, whether it can be driven or must be transported, where the keys and documents will be released, and who can accept it at delivery. A non-runner should never be presented as a driven movement.
MotorRelay records the information and workflow, while the dealer and selected independent driver remain responsible for following the agreed instructions and applicable legal, insurance and safety requirements.
Driven delivery is for a roadworthy vehicle that can lawfully be moved as described. Use a suitable transporter or recovery arrangement when it cannot.
Delivery questions
Yes. The dealer can provide the collection, delivery and recipient details for a customer handover. The final recipient must be available and able to complete the required QR or PIN confirmation.
The run workflow requests collection and delivery inspection evidence, including the required vehicle views and any condition notes shown in the app.
Yes. The dealer and selected driver have a run-specific conversation so operational messages remain attached to the movement.
No. Shared location supports the run view but depends on the driver's device and connection. Important access, safety or handover information should still be communicated directly through the run.
It must be posted using an appropriate transporter or recovery method and described accurately. A vehicle that is unsafe or not roadworthy must not be presented as a drive-away movement.
